We may all think that a  pet is for life, but, unfortunately, there are more families than we realize that do not. Every year, an alarming number of dogs and cats are abandoned.George’s case is similar. The dog owners have chosen to move, and while the whole family is eager to go on this new journey, one of them is not among them. To receive help, George must be put in a cage.

George was demoted by his companions. They abandoned him on the streets, believing that he could fend for himself, even if it meant that the dog was scared, cold and had to eat garbage.

The dog, frightened, had no choice but to seek refuge in an area near his former residence, where there were some trees. No matter how hard they tried, no one could get close enough to the animal to save him. George was taken to a shelter, where he was forced to face his suspicions.

The dog was fed only when neighbors litter or when someone who wants to help the pet drops some food into his fist. A group of volunteers managed to change the history of this puppy after it had been abandoned for several months thanks to donations to a bigger dog, an organization that helps many charities.

Despite being friendly, the dog was very traumatized by his time on the streets.

The first task was to capture George. Because the dog was terrified and did not trust anyone, he could run away or turn hostile. This reality forced the experts to design a strategy to catch George as soon as possible.
