General Hospital Spoilers gossip Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) wasn’t as surprised as many thought he should’ve been when Sasha Corbin Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) marched into his office to set the record straight that he wasn’t her father.

Learning that she got such an idea from her mother — Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) — was more than he expected to learn at work that day, but still, he wasn’t completely thrown to find out that Holly had a secret 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 he never knew about. What he can’t process without Holly’s input is why she kept it from him.

Putting her on the spot and demanding answers didn’t seem to get Robert very far, but realizing she was never intending to tell him has left him mulling over conversations from their past. What was the significance of that immigration montage anyway?

General Hospital Spoilers — Robert Scorpio Got The Only Answer That Matters

Robert is a patient man. He can wait a few days for a DNA test result to tell him what Holly is already insisting upon — that Sasha is his daughter.

But the implications of that result don’t carry the same weight for him as it will for Sasha — who would just hate to have to live in that reality with him as her father as it means she would lose Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as her boyfriend.

But more importantly, Robert is focused on the sour note that really hit home for him during his conversation with Holly — the fact that she was never going to tell him Sasha existed and was his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. That’s what matters here.

GH Spoilers – Gush the Past Tells A Different Story

As Robert begins to reflect on his past with Holly, the memories might be a little fuzzy. He wasn’t aware he would need to remember such intimate details of their conversations from decades ago, or that any of it would matter today.

Finding out he has a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 at this late stage in his life has rocked him to his core, but he’s taking it in stride in Holly’s presence and not allowing her to know how much she’s gotten under his skin.

Will he unearth inconsistencies in their past that make it seem like there’s no way Sasha could be his though, and if so, how will that coincide with test results that claim she is?

General Hospital Spoilers — Was It All A Lie?

When the test results come back, it could change everything for everyone involved. If the results are negative, Robert has nothing to worry about and will probably write Holly’s claims off as a mistake — even though Sasha will see it as another sloppy attempt at a con.

But if the test results say Robert and Sasha are a match — as expected — then all bets are off when Robert pieces together the past and it paints a very different story.
