Max Verstappen and partner Kelly Piquet are expecting their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in 2025. Although the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 has not yet been 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, he/she is already being given a great future, as it will be Max Verstappen’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. But also from the mother’s side, a lot of racing talent will be passed on.
The offspring of Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet will have a lot of racing blood in him. A four-time Formula 1 world champion as a father and a three-time Formula 1 world champion as a grandfather [Nelson Piquet] is of course something special and it is therefore expected that the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 of Max and Kelly will become a true racing prodigy. Red Bull Racing also has that feeling.
In an interview with Kleine Zeitung, Helmut Marko also states that he expects there to be a lot of potential when it comes to racing talent. Whether it will actually become the new Red Bull driver is still a bit too far, he thinks, but the Austrian certainly does not hide that it is an interesting option for the future.
“It’s a bit far-fetched,” Marko laughs. “But if the grandfather is a three-time world champion and the father is a four-time world champion, then there must be some potential in terms of genes. But we still don’t know if it will be a boy or a girl, which doesn’t matter in the end. There is also a demand for fast women.”
Verstappen hopes 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 won’t race
Although Helmut Marko might consider adding Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 to the Red Bull Junior Team in the future, Max Verstappen has already stated that he would prefer his future son or daughter not to have anything to do with Formula 1. If that is the case, he will fully support them, but he hopes not!
“I hope not! If he or she wants to and I see that there is talent, then of course I would support it. But I really hope not! No pressure, just live your life.”
