General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that while Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) passed away during the Wednesday, October 30 show, this won’t be the last time fans see the character in the land of Port Charles. A new report reveals the character will make one last appearance.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall’s One Last Goodbye
According to a report from Us Weekly, Sam McCall will make one final appearance on GH, sometime this week. Perhaps ghost Sam watches over her loved ones, or reaches out to someone, or multiple people, for one final goodbye.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had proposed to Sam right after she came out of surgery, so there’s a chance she may visit him.
Then again, JaSam fans have been longing for some closure between her and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), so there’s always the option that the iconic super couple gets one last moment together.
Regardless, fans need to stay tuned to the soap, as Wednesday, October 30 isn’t the last hooray for Sam, as Kelly Monaco officially exits GH after two decades on the show.
GH Spoilers – Sam McCall’s Passing Was Emotional
Since Kelly’s departure from the show was announced in September, GH fans have been on pins and needles waiting for the final shoe to drop.
It was shocking for many viewers to find out that not only had Kelly been let go, but her character was slated to be 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed off. While characters are never truly dead in the land of daytime drama, Sam’s passing is as final as it gets.
During the Wednesday, October 30th show, Sam and her mom Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), were laughing and hugging away, celebrating her engagement news, when she turned pale white, and doctors needed to be called to her room.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) rushed into Sam’s room to help Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) revive Sam.
Despite many attempts with heart shock and chest compressions, Sam’s time of death was reluctantly declared as 5:48 p.m. by Lucas, after 30 minutes of trying.
As sad as fans are, the silver lining in all this is that Sam will have some closure in Port Charles, later this week.
