At 73, Roseanne Barr has broken a long silence, and now she is threatening to name the co-stars she claims betrayed her most—and the list is already sending shockwaves through Hollywood.
In a raw and expletive-laced video transcript obtained exclusively, Barr unloaded on the people she once worked with, calling out specific betrayals and vowing to reveal secrets she says she has protected for decades. “She built one of the biggest sitcoms in television history. She fought for it, bled for it, and lost it in a single afternoon,” the transcript reads.
“But at 73, Roseanne Barr isn’t done talking. For years, she stayed quiet. She protected people.
She kept secrets that could have burned careers to the ground. Now, she says that silence is over.”
The first name on her list is Matt Williams, the original creator credited with the show. Barr claims Williams was forced off the series after a bitter fight over the “creator” credit in the opening credits. The network chose Barr over Williams, and he was gone after episode 13.
“That fight ended with a man being pushed off the very show he had helped create,” the transcript states.
Then there is Tom Arnold, the husband she made a co-star and later an enemy. The relationship burned hot and ended ugly, with Arnold eventually refusing to participate in a roast of Barr. “No relationship in Roseanne Barr’s world burned hotter, turned uglier, or became more public than the one she had with Tom Arnold,” the transcript says.
But the most painful estrangement, Barr now reveals, is with John Goodman. The actor who played Dan Conner was her closest ally on screen and off. Now they no longer speak.
“By 2025, Goodman admitted in an interview that they no longer spoke. His explanation was quiet and sad. He said he doubted she even wanted to talk to him anymore,” the transcript notes.

Barr has said bluntly that Gilbert “ruined the show.”
The entire collapse traces back to a single tweet in May 2018. Barr posted a comment about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett that was widely condemned as racist. ABC canceled the revival within hours.
“The speed of the fall made it even more 𝓈𝒽𝓸𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔. Only weeks earlier, the Roseanne revival had been treated as a major cultural event,” the transcript states.
Now, Barr is threatening to release a tell-all book that will expose the secrets of everyone who worked on the show. “She said that for years she had protected the show by keeping quiet about other people’s secrets, and now she intended to reveal them,” the transcript says. “She also said that once she won her threatened lawsuit against ABC, every future project she made would center on a working-class Midwestern woman like the one she once played.”
