BTS is turning the entire city of Busan into a massive stage to celebrate the group’s 13th debut anniversary.

BTS is preparing a spectacular event in Busan to mark the 13th anniversary of their debut. Through the project “BTS The City Arirang,” the port city will transform into a giant stage where fans can immerse themselves in BTS’s music and message.

On May 18, Big Hit Music officially announced plans for the event, which will take place on June 12 and 13. This will not only be a concert as part of the “ARIRANG” world tour, but also a colorful cultural festival spread across Busan’s most famous landmarks.

Held during BTS’s debut anniversary period, the event promises unforgettable experiences for fans around the world. Iconic locations such as Gwangan Bridge will feature dazzling drone light shows, while the Gwangbok-ro shopping district will showcase impressive media facade displays.

Haeundae Beach will also be transformed into a public relaxation space with special areas such as the “Love Song Lounge” and “Love Quarter.” In particular, the fan community zone called “ARMY Madang” will allow visitors to experience cutting-edge technology combined with the entertainment industry.

The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Busan city government to create an open festival for both locals and tourists. Throughout June, the city will also offer BTS-themed travel packages, cruises, and hotel programs, effectively turning Busan into a true “BTS festival.”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is also making waves as the group’s YouTube channel has surpassed 12 million subscribers. According to YG Entertainment, the achievement came just over two years after debut, making BABYMONSTER the fastest K-pop girl group to reach this milestone.

The group recently drew attention with their comeback mini album Choom (Dance), attracting many new fans. BABYMONSTER is now the third K-pop girl group in history to surpass 12 million YouTube subscribers, following BLACKPINK and TWICE.

At the same time, aespa is preparing for an explosive summer with their second studio album Lemonade, scheduled for release on May 29. The album will include 11 diverse tracks, featuring the title song “Lemonade” as well as a collaboration with G-Dragon.

After previously returning with a darker concept, aespa is set to present a completely fresh and vibrant image. Through the album’s positive message, the group hopes to inspire listeners to turn hardships into motivation.

“Lemonade” will officially be released on digital music platforms at 1 PM on May 29, with a physical version launching the same day. The question now is whether these new releases will be powerful enough to create unforgettable memories for this summer.
