The kidnapped Anna is unmasked and finds herself in Brennan’s office. The WSB director claims he’s trying to save her from a life sentence in Steinbauer, as she was about to tank a Level-5 Op.
Jack’s Suddenly For Transparency
In order to keep Anna from blowing everything, he informs her that Henry Dalton is working on a cold fusion project. Anna realizes that’s where Joss comes in, as Jack needed a college student to infiltrate the lab. He confirms that Joss and Vaughn are partners and are on their way to Croatia on a reconnaissance mission.
Anna knows she can’t do anything to stop him, but there will be hell to pay when Carly finds out that he recruited her daughter.
Anna says they’ve known one another a long time. She’s seen him with many women, but never like he is with Carly. He’s fallen for her, and quips that there is a first time for everything.
Now That Michael Knows, What Will He Do?
Dante and Michael return to the Q mansion after a night run. Michael stuns his brother with his suspicions that Willow is the one who targeted Daisy. He believes the whole tormenting of Sasha and Daisy was payback for Willow losing her kids. If he’s right, then this changes everything.
Willow Weeps to Chase
Chase finds Willow at work at the hospital. Willow’s happy to see him as she has no idea how her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren are and was hoping he could tell her about them. He fills her in on them, and she ends up in tears over how much her kids are changing and she’s missing it. She knows she has a lot of work to do before the visitation hearing, and she must own her part in all of this. (About damn time she said those words!)
Willow knows going to Carly’s was a mistake, just like everything she’d done over the past year. She must find a way to undo the damage she did. He suggests she keep trying with Michael and Carly, and in time, they’ll see the good in her like he does.
Carly and Lucas Make Nicey
Carly finds Lucas in the doctor’s lounge to give him his mail and scold him for ignoring her. She asks him to move back home. Lucas tells her that he spoke to Felicia about how their mom handled Sonny and realized he can’t lose her over the guy.
Carly can’t cut Sonny out of her life, but she does apologize for snapping at him and for badmouthing his relationship with Marco. Lucas accepts her apology, and Carly suggests they have Marco over for dinner. Lucas asserts that he’s not moving back in.
Carly asks why not? Lucas doesn’t want Donna to sense the tension between him and Sonny when he’s there. Plus, it’s time he got his own place. They embrace. She also gives him back his key to her place for special occasions like holidays.
Later, as Carly heads out, she walks by Willow and Chase, trying to ignore Willow. Willow, however, asks her to speak for a minute.
What’s Next for Curtis and Portia?
At the Metro Court, Curtis has dinner with Portia, who wonders if this is a celebration or the last supper. He calls it a celebration, as Drew has agreed to a truce. He admits Drew still has the evidence on her as insurance, but as long as the peace holds, they are good.
Portia asks, now that Drew is neutralized, is he willing to fight for their marriage? Curtis says that is what tonight is about: finding their way back to one another.
Their conversation turns to Trina and Kai’s falling out. Trina’s refusal to give him a second chance made Curtis realize he needs to do that with Portia.
Tracy Gets Terrible News
At another table, Tracy meets with Sidwell and Marco to inform them that they recently discovered some of Sonny’s investments were laundered money. Sidwell squeals, “Noooo!” Tracy reveals they’ve severed ties with him and returned his cash, but will be going to the police. Sidwell tells her that would be a mistake.
That’s when Acting DA Turner interrupts to talk to Marco. She knows his statement was fabricated to cover for Sonny’s kidnapping of him.
Marco sticks by his statement, so she apologizes for her intrusion and leaves them. Tracy realizes Sonny forced Sidwell to pull out of Measure C by taking his son. Nevertheless, she is still going to the police with the information she has on Sonny to get rid of him once and for all.
Marco and Sidwell point out she has held onto those files for some time, which won’t look good and will cause a public scandal and client distrust in Deception. Tracy snaps, “Forgive me if I won’t be taking advice from a man who lives in a faux-medieval fortress and is friends with Lucy Coe.” She storms off.
Alone, Sidwell asks why his son let Sonny off the hook. Marco knows trying to pin the kidnapping on him would be an uphill battle. Sidwell lets his son know he has something special lined up, and when he launches this weapon, it’s game over for Sonny.
Will Jason Take Sonny’s Advice?
Up at the pool, Jason and Sonny hang out after a softball game. Sonny notes that Jason wasn’t himself on the field, and Jason explains that his mind has been on Britt, whom he’s certain is alive due to recent experiences.
After being filled in, Sonny says even if Britt survived the hook attack, she was sick and didn’t want anyone to watch her die, and was going to leave town. Jason knows, so Sonny asks what he’s going to do? Jason isn’t going to do anything, as Britt chose to vanish, so he’ll honor her choice. Sonny asks if he thinks Britt deserves to know he’s back from the dead, too.
Turner interrupts and congratulates the men on their win tonight. However, she accuses Sonny of rigging the game, which is his specialty. She says the PCPD plays his team tomorrow, and she’ll be ready for every trick he’s got. Sonny taunts that they’ll beat her fair and square, and she quips, “That will be a first.” She then walks off. (Anyone get the feeling Turner will end up in Sonny’s bed before long?)
