Justine may be falling for Sonny’s charm.
Sonny is due for a love interest on General Hospital. With Natalia gone and Carly with Brennan, it’s time for Sonny to move on to someone new. He may have found that someone.
The Charm Of Sonny
The ladies love Sonny (Maurice Benard). His list of relationships is endless, with some women in Port Charles falling for him more than once. His love life has been quiet since his divorce from Nina (Cynthia Watros). It looked like he was falling for Natalia (ex-Eva LaRue), but that never went anywhere, and now she is dead.
Sonny has also had his fair share of love/hate relationships, and a new one seems to be on the horizon. Justine, also known as ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor), has been after Sonny since her first appearance in Port Charles. Her mission is to take him down, but that is not an easy job. Many have tried and failed before. The mobster can be very charming and can turn it on when needed.
Coming to Justine’s rescue was a great first step. He helped her and brought her to GH when she twisted her ankle during softball. Then he sat with her in the waiting room, where he opened up about his life. It looks like the ADA is beginning to soften, just as he knew she would.
This Sonny Storyline Looks Familiar
This is not the first time Sonny has become entangled with a woman on the opposite side of the law. There was FBI Agent Reese Marshall (Kari Wührer), who ended up having ties to Carly (Laura Wright). Further back, he fell for another FBI Agent, Hannah Scott (Lisa Vultaggio), who was assigned to him because she looked like his exes.
Federal Prosecutor Claire Walsh (Dahlia Salem) fell for the mobster after being assigned to him. The two ended up working together to take down Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash). Of course, his brief affair with attorney Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave them their daughter, Kristina (Kate Mansi).
Now there is Justine. Her mission was to take Sonny down. Is she just trying to get rid of the local mob boss, or does she have some kind of personal grudge against him?
