Traci’s back in Genoa City
Beth Maitland returns to Y&R on Monday, September 22. The actress hasn’t been seen since May 27 when she and Ashley returned from New York City after their ordeal with Alan, or should we say Martin? Diane welcomed her and they toured the renovation of the house which she loved.
She admitted to her sister-in-law that things haven’t been easy now that she knows she was in love with a monster and left nothing but questions and guilt. Traci truly believed the spark she felt was genuine, and she thought they’d marry and last forever. She felt like an experiment and wondered if any part of their relationship was real.
Traci decided to turn her ordeal into a new novel and headed back to New York to do just that. She returns for Monday’s episode to greet Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters), and then visits Society, where she speaks with Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Cane (Billy Flynn) and bonds a little with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) over Martin’s (Christopher Cousins) manipulations and psychotic nature. They both admitted to having issues sleeping still, and Traci told her she and Sharon (Sharon Case) would be the first to get her new book when it comes out.
