EXCLUSIVE Manchester City hero Ederson treated himself and his young family to a stay at the idyllic Kandima Maldives island resort – where they even swam with sharks
Ederson celebrated his Treble winning heroics with Manchester City by heading out to the idyllic Kandima Maldives island resort.
The five-time Premier League winning Brazil international left England with wife Lais Moraes and their three young 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to stay at the five-star retreat. During their stay, Ederson swam with reef sharks, had a kick about with other guests and even renewed his vows with his wife.
The 29-year-old’s temporary abode included beautiful views of the clear water as well as sea life and beaming sun on the sandy white beaches filled with palm trees.
Ederson and his family looked to have had the holiday of a lifetime on their trip to Asia – even finding time to go snorkelling.
He said: “It was a wonderful experience and there was plenty to see and do. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming with the sharks it was fascinating and the snorkelling was amazing.”
The kids also took part in art classes while looking out at the stunning scenery, with the food hugely enjoyed by the former Benfica stopper.
Ederson also beamed while taking part in a memorable kick about with fellow guests and locals, making the most of his chance to play outfield.

Kandima Maldives is described as an island lifestyle destination which prides itself on offering affordable luxury escapes for couples, families, as well as adventure seekers.
Located on the 3km long Dhaalu Atoll, the resort has entertainment for visitors of all ages as well as an art studio, spa, fitness centre and football pitch.
A kids club, seasonal dining experiences and underwater excursions are also on offer to guests, with a holiday of a lifetime promised.

Ederson has made his name as one of the top goalkeepers on the planet since moving to the Premier League, keeping 102 clean sheets across 217 games.
He has had to battle Liverpool’s Alisson for place in the Brazil side, but had made 21 appearances in total including two already in 2023.
Ederson and his City team-mates will need to find further motivation next season after picking up Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League glory last time out under Pep Guardiola.

Known for his long range passing expertise as well as ability to rush off the line, Ederson credits his style with playing futsal as a youngster.
He told Sky Sports earlier this year: “Futsal really helped with that. You have to be calm, make the right decisions, pick the right passes.
“Because it is a small-sided pitch, you are playing under pressure a lot of the time and that helps me as a player even today. It makes that feeling of calmness more natural.

“You sometimes hear the crowd taking in that deep breath when play becomes a bit risky. But I cannot break my concentration. I have to maintain my cool.
“That helps me make the right decisions when the opposition are pressing and my job is to find the free man.”
City start the new season with the FA Community Shield against Arsenal on August 6, with their Premier League opener coming against Burnley five says later.
