Andre Grows Suspicious as Carlton Shows Concern for Naomi — While Kat’s Medical Crisis Terrifies Fairmont Crest

Fairmont Crest is drowning in fear, guilt, and unanswered questions as Kat Richardson’s sacrifice for Eva Thomas takes a frightening turn. What began as a life-saving transplant quickly becomes a new nightmare when doctors rush back into Kat’s room and her loved ones realize the donor may now be in greater danger than the recipient.

At Garland Memorial, Ted and Nicole keep a tense vigil by Kat’s bedside. Eva has survived the transplant and is slowly waking up, but Kat remains unconscious, leaving everyone terrified. For Ted, the moment is almost unbearable. One daughter has been saved, but the other may now be slipping away because of the sacrifice she made.

Nicole tries to stay calm by leaning on her medical knowledge. She reminds Ted that every patient responds differently to anesthesia, but even she cannot ignore the warning signs. As a doctor, she understands what the machines are saying. As a mother, she is falling apart inside.Beyond the Gates' Spoilers (March 16-20): A Dangerous Warning Sparks New Drama

Then everything changes.

Kat’s heart rate suddenly spikes, alarms begin sounding, and doctors rush into the room. Nicole is told to step out, forcing her into the worst position imaginable. She knows enough to understand the danger, but she is powerless to help her own daughter. Watching from the hallway, Nicole, Ted, and the rest of the family can only wait as the medical team fights to stabilize Kat.

The crisis sends guilt crashing through everyone who pressured Kat into the surgery. Martin, fresh off his primary victory, cannot truly celebrate when his sister may be fighting for her life. Eva, now awake because of Kat’s sacrifice, must face the devastating truth that the woman she once clashed with gave her a second chance at life. If Kat does not recover, that debt may haunt Eva forever.

Meanwhile, another quiet mystery begins forming around Naomi. Carlton shows concern for her after mentioning a rescheduled appointment, but Naomi clearly does not want the conversation happening in front of her family. Her reaction raises immediate questions. What is she hiding? Why is the appointment so sensitive? And why does Carlton seem to know more than everyone else?

Andre notices the exchange and becomes suspicious.

With so many secrets already swirling around Fairmont Crest, Andre’s instincts are on high alert. He has already been questioning Dani’s strange behavior after the tornado, and now Naomi’s discomfort around Carlton gives him another reason to wonder what people around him are keeping hidden.

The timing could not be worse. Dani is still carrying the secret of what happened with Bill in the elevator, Bill is struggling with guilt, Hayley is watching him closely, and Naomi may now have a secret of her own.

As Kat’s condition worsens and the family waits for another miracle, the emotional pressure spreads beyond the hospital room. Every character seems to be hiding something, fearing something, or regretting something.

The biggest question remains whether Kat will wake up the same person she was before surgery — or whether this near-death experience will change her forever.

One thing is certain: Kat saved Eva’s life, but the price of that sacrifice may shake the entire Dupree and Richardson family to its core.
