On The Young and the Restless, November 10, Sally continued to fight for her friend Audra. However, this plan could backfire. Sally already made a mistake with hiring her best friend.
Could Billy’s Fears Come True?
Earlier in the episode, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Sally (Courtney Hope) talked about Abbott Communications. Sally admitted that Jill (Jess Walton) doesn’t want Audra (Zuleyka Silver) involved in their company.
Sally believes in Audra and wanted to hire her. However, Billy thinks Audra is a loose cannon. She could easily revert to her old ways and ruin everything they had built.
But Sally is a fierce supporter of her best friend. She believes that Audra deserves this opportunity and won’t do anything to mess it up. Sally argued that Audra will work hard and have her back.
Meanwhile, Audra’s scrambling to ensure that her future stays intact. Her run-in with Holden (Nathan Owens) left her visibly shaken. Even Sally was wondering if everything was alright between them.
Sally pulled Audra aside and shared what the investor said. They’re concerned about Audra’s past and advise against hiring her. But Sally isn’t giving up on her friend.
Audra is glad that Sally has her back. Not many people do these days. Most of them want her out of town. But Audra will distance herself from Abbott Communications until they need her.
The Mishap in Sally’s Hiring
This story already exposes a plothole in Sally hiring Audra. She took her on as an employee, which is why the investor brought her up in the first place.
Had Sally taken Audra on as a consultant, they wouldn’t have been questioned about it. Audra’s past wouldn’t have been brought up.
That would’ve been a smarter move, as it would’ve created a distance between Audra and their company. Sally is already setting herself up for failure by taking her on.
Billy isn’t right about many things, but he is right about one. Audra is a loose cannon. There’s no thinking about what she can do when she gets desperate. When she goes down, she’ll take anyone with her, even Sally.
Now, Audra’s future is at risk. Holden gave Claire (Hayley Erin) a sanitized version of what happened in Los Angeles. But if the truth comes out, it could hurt her chances at a future with Billy and Sally.
Young and the Restless fans are disappointed in Holden and Audra’s secret. It didn’t live up to the hype. However, the viewers could be pleasantly surprised once the harsh truth is revealed. And it could explode in Billy and Sally’s faces.
