Well, so much for angel investors coming in and saving Titan on Days of Our Lives. The surprise news that some company called ARO Wealth Management paid out the loan has quickly turned from hope to despair. Because rather than swooping in to save the company, they just bought the loan and, Xander and Philip learned on Wednesday, are changing the terms of it to make it impossible for Titan to pay it off.
Who Is Behind ARO Wealth Management?
One thought we had was to go off the initials and the “O” seemed like the most unusual, but the best we could come up with was Olson. We don’t see Julie being behind it and, while her dad, Ben, was a rich, successful banker that would be in line for running a company like this, he’s been gone a long, long time.

And Steven’s never really showed any kind of business ambition on this scale! Unless Julie and Steven have a mysterious sibling they never knew about, that seemed like a dead end. And the “A” and the “R” just leave too many possibilities open to spend too much time on.
So next up is who would gain from doing this? EJ’s the first, most obvious answer! Just the other day, Xander acknowledged that while Johnny may have forgiven and forgotten that little lawsuit snafu, his father is an entirely other matter. EJ goes for revenge. He’s planning on getting it on Kristen for trying to kill Johnny, so why wouldn’t he do the same with Titan for trying to sue the young CEO?
Buy up the loan with some of the profits he may already be raking in on presales for his wunderdrug (whether or not it works), then use it to put Titan under and take over.

Another name that fans are bandying around with EJ is Dimitri! He may have agreed to split his money with Gwen, but he still has plenty to go around. We know he’s coming back, per Days of Our Lives’ summer teaser, and if he believes Gwen’s been working with EJ, he might want a way to go after them both. Buy up Titan and use it to wage war on his enemies — which, honestly, includes most of the DiMeras, since pretty much no one likes him.
Of course there’s always an outlier theory: Maggie did it! She’s been off-screen (while Suzanne Rogers went through cancer treatment), maybe pulling funds together to buy up the loan and use it to take control of Titan away from the likes of Xander and Kate and their underhanded dealings. Kate just griped on Wednesday about how Maggie’s done nothing while she’s been there trying to keep Titan afloat.
That could have been more pointed than she realized if Maggie’s working secretly to take over. Honestly, though, that seems like a stretch.
And that leaves Vivian. And it also kind of brings us back to the initials. “A” could stand for Alamain! Besides, do any of us believe she actually died offscreen? It’s not impossible, of course, but she knew EJ and Dimitri were both coming for her. She may have faked her own death and used it as a cover to pull off this coup. Her scheme with Philip didn’t work, so now she can take the company for herself.
What are your thoughts? Who bought up Titan’s loan and seems intent on using it to take it from the Kiriakises?
