According to public records, Leon Max, a fashion designer, is the home’s current owner. He has listed the nine-bedroom, six-bathroom house with Linda May of Linda May Properties and Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates for $21M.

A winding road leads to the exclusive gates of the hidden three-acre ridgetop residence, which has 360-degree views of the Hollywood sign and Lake Hollywood, and is 10,513 square feet in size and was built about 1926 by John DeLario.

The spiral staircase tower linking the mansion’s several floors may be seen during a tour of the foyer, along with an old elevator with wood paneling.
