Take a look at the Fast & Furious actor Jason Statham’s $7 million home in Hollywood

Jason Statham—he of action-thriller films like the Fast & Furious franchise, Snatch, and The Transporter—may not be the first name that comes to mind when you think of midcentury modern design fanatics.

Action film star Jason Statham is asking $6,995,000 for his renovated midcentury house above Los Angeles’s Sunset Boulevard.

The actor bought the 1957 butterfly roof home in 2015 and spent two years refurbishing it with the architect Jeff Allsbrook of Standard Architecture.

Statham – who is a fan of midcentury modern design and home renovation – bought the Rising Glen Road property as a fixer-upper for $2.7 million and has kept the shape of its original exterior.

Meanwhile, the four-bedroom modernist property’s minimalist interior has cedar plank vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows set beneath the roof’s deep overhangs.

It features a respectable sized living room, a modern kitchen, a decent dining area, and a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a minimalist bathroom.
