Lee DanielsΒ (Precious, The Butler) heads into the world of horror with the upcoming Netflix Original movie, which is rated βRβ for βViolent content, language & πβ―πual references.β
The film arrivesΒ in select theaters August 16Β andΒ on Netflix August 30.

Omar Epps, Demi Singleton, Miss LawrenceΒ andΒ Anthony B. JenkinsΒ will star inΒ The Deliverance, which is being described as an βexorcism thriller.βΒ Andra Day, Glenn Close, MoβNique, Aunjanue Ellis, Caleb McLaughlinΒ andΒ Tasha SmithΒ also star.
In the film, βEbony Jackson, a struggling single mother fighting her personal demons, moves her family into a new home for a fresh start. But when strange occurrences inside the home raise the suspicions of Child Protective Services and threaten to tear the family apart, Ebony soon finds herself locked in a battle for her life and the souls of her π€π©πͺππ₯ren.β
