Mike Tyson has admitted that he may return to smoking marijuana right before he steps into the ring with Jake Paul.
The heavyweight boxing legend has become famous in his career after fighting for his affinity towards smoking. He has set up his own ranch and is regularly seen with marijuana and CBD products during promotional appearances.
However, he has now reportedly quit the substance as he trains for six hours a day preparing to face controversial celebrity boxer Paul. He is refusing to guarantee, however, that he will enter the ring fully sober.
Mike Tyson refuses to rule out possibility of being high for Jake Paul fight
During an appearance on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Mike Tyson opened up about his plans for his big fight with Jake Paul. The show’s host claimed that he would be betting big money on his guest, to which Tyson replied that he “is thinking that would be a very good idea.”
When it came to his infamous weed habit, Tyson was a bit more reserved with Kimmel. He was asked if he was still smoking, to which he claimed that he is “not really.” “I have smoked,” he admitted. “But not any time soon.”
Kimmel then went for the jugular, asking directly if Tyson will be high when he fights. The boxer replied that will be “so high off life,” before being more pointedly asked about marijuana, telling the comedian “That’s a possibility, too.”
The answer caused Kimmel to laugh nervously, before declaring that his “bet is getting lower” the more they talk.
Mike Tyson previously claimed he will be on residue of mushrooms during Jake Paul bout
Another drug that has been a big part of Tyson’s life since retiring in 2005 has been mushrooms. He is a strong advocate for the psychedelic, and has previously been seen consuming massive amounts while appearing in interviews.
