This moment was special as it came just days after he signed an eight-year contract extension worth $66 million. This deal keeps him with the Bruins until the 2031-32 season.
After the Bruins won 6-4, Swayman spoke to reporters about his return to the ice. He expressed his gratitude, saying,
“It’s such an incredible thing to be back playing and in this building again.”
He reflected on the time he spent away from the rink and how good it felt to regain his rhythm with the support of Bruins fans.
Swayman also discussed his focus on adjusting to the game, emphasizing the importance of reading play and tracking dangerous players off the puck, which is vital for a goaltender.

Swayman is now excited about his new eight-year contract with the Bruins.
