Now 80, she has enjoyed a prolific career beyond “Rising Damp,” appearing in “Harry Potter” and “The History Boys.”

Don Warrington, 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in Trinidad in 1952, brought sophistication to his role as Phillip, the clever tenant who often outsmarted Rigsby. At 73, he remains an esteemed figure in British television. Richard Beckinsale, who played the kind-hearted Allan, tragically died young at 31 due to a heart condition, leaving a legacy that still resonates in comedy.
