Sara Rivers, known for her participation in the reality show “Making the Band,” has made shocking allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming he subjected her to harassment and retaliated against her career. Rivers has filed a lawsuit in New York seeking $60 million, alleging that Diddy blackballed her from the music industry after she refused his advances.

In her complaint, Rivers, who appeared on the show under the name Sara Stokes, recounts a series of troubling incidents. She alleges that Diddy controlled her personal life, including her sleep schedule, mocked her struggles with an eating disorder, and forced her into unpaid labor, including running errands for him. Furthermore, Rivers claims that Diddy made inappropriate comments about her body and even subjected her to unwanted physical contact in a recording studio setting.

The lawsuit names over two dozen defendants, including Diddy, his mother, Universal Music, MTV, and other officials associated with Bad Boy Entertainment. In response, Diddy has strongly denied these allegations, describing them as false claims made by opportunists. He expressed confidence that he would prevail in court, emphasizing that he has never engaged in inappropriate behavior with anyone.

Rivers’ allegations come at a time when New York’s recently enacted Gender Motivated Violence Act has prompted a surge in claims, leading to speculation about the motivations behind her lawsuit. The public is divided, with some questioning the timing of the allegations and others expressing support for Rivers.

With Diddy facing multiple allegations over the years, the music industry is bracing for the potential fallout from this latest lawsuit. As the case unfolds, it raises critical questions about accountability and the treatment of women in the entertainment world. Public opinion remains polarized, with many eager to see how this high-profile case will evolve in the coming months.
