Pet Sematary III (2025) – Trailer Story | Patrick Wilson Leads Haunting Return in New Supernatural Horror

July 2025 – “Dead doesn’t mean gone. It only means they’re listening.”

Paramount Pictures has unleashed the official trailer for Pet Sematary III (2025) — the terrifying continuation of Stephen King’s iconic mythology. Directed by Osgood Perkins (Longlegs, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House) and starring Patrick Wilson, the new installment dives even deeper into the cursed soil of Ludlow, Maine — and what happens when the dead come back with more than memories.

🪦 Plot Overview

Set fifteen years after the events of the 2019 reboot, Pet Sematary III follows Dr. Alan Creed (Wilson), the estranged brother of Louis Creed, who returns to Ludlow to bury a tragic past. But when his teenage daughter Emily (played by Ivy George) disappears during a storm, he is forced to confront the ancient Mi’kmaq burial ground and the dark truth his family tried to escape.

As Alan digs deeper — literally and metaphorically — he uncovers a horrifying evolution of the curse: the dead no longer return as shadows of themselves… they return as conduits. What begins as grief becomes possession, and the town of Ludlow is on the verge of something ancient and apocalyptic.
