After more than a decade in the shadows, Final Destination returns—and death has never looked more inevitable. The official teaser trailer for Final Destination 7 has been released by New Line Cinema, showcasing a terrifying new chapter in the iconic horror-thriller franchise. Directed by Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise), the seventh installment doesn’t reboot the franchise—it expands it. The teaser trailer opens with a high-stakes scene aboard a luxury bullet train in the Alps, where a group of VIP passengers narrowly escapes a catastrophic derailment. But as fans know, cheating death comes with a price—and the survivors are about to pay it.

Jenna Ortega plays Lyla, a tech intern with a chilling premonition. Brad Pitt stars as Dr. Blake Vance, a trauma surgeon who becomes the reluctant leader of the survivors. Megan Fox is Serena Vale, a celebrity influencer whose luck may finally run out, and Morgan Freeman plays Agent Hale, a retired government analyst who has been tracking Death’s patterns for decades.

The teaser offers flickers of gruesome, Rube Goldberg-style deaths: a collapsing rooftop garden, a champagne cork triggering a fatal chain reaction, and an elevator shaft that… well, you’ll have to see it.

“You don’t stop death,” Freeman’s voice echoes in the teaser. “You just delay the design.”

Final Destination 7 is written by Jeffrey Reddick (creator of the original), produced by Blumhouse, New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros., and promises to honor the series’ roots while elevating the terror with new layers of mystery, psychology, and existential dread.
