Two of horror’s most iconic nightmares are about to collide. The official teaser trailer for Pennywise x Annabelle has dropped — and it’s everything fans of IT and The Conjuring universe feared… and hoped for.

Set in the fog-drenched, blood-soaked town of Derry, Maine, the film opens with a chilling voiceover: “Evil never dies… it multiplies.” The trailer then cuts between glimpses of a red balloon drifting through a graveyard, Annabelle slowly turning her head toward something inhuman, and Pennywise emerging from the shadows with glowing eyes and a twisted smile.

This dark fantasy-horror crossover is directed by James Wan and produced jointly by New Line Cinema and Atomic Monster, promising a blend of supernatural terror and psychological dread.

In this twisted tale, an orphaned 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 discovers a strange doll buried beneath a condemned house in Derry. But this isn’t just any doll — it’s Annabelle, and her reawakening disturbs a force long dormant: Pennywise. As their evil energies intertwine, the town descends into a vortex of fear, hallucinations, and violent disappearances.

One eerie shot in the trailer shows Pennywise kneeling before the Annabelle doll, speaking to her in a whisper that distorts reality: “Let’s make them believe in monsters again.”

The teaser ends with a simple, bone-chilling message on screen: “Welcome back… to Derry.”

Pennywise x Annabelle hits theaters worldwide on September 13, 2026, just in time for the Halloween season. The film is already being hailed online as “the horror event of the decade.”
