The demon returns—this time, more unholy than ever.
Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema have released the official teaser trailer for The Nun 3: Blood of the Faithless (2026), the latest installment in The Conjuring Universe. Starring Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, the film delves deeper into the horrifying origins of the demon Valak and the growing cracks in the Church’s spiritual defenses.
Set in 1966 Romania, the story follows Sister Irene as she is summoned to investigate a remote abbey where a series of priests have mysteriously vanished. What she uncovers is a forbidden sect once believed to be wiped out—one whose resurrection is linked directly to Valak’s re𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 through “the blood of the faithless.”
The teaser is filled with foreboding imagery: a blood-soaked chalice, flickering candles in pitch-black corridors, and whispering voices reciting corrupted prayers. It ends with Sister Irene staring into a mirror… only to see Valak’s grin forming behind her.
“Faith alone can’t stop what’s already inside you,” a haunting voice whispers.
Directed by Michael Chaves, the film promises to be the darkest and most psychological chapter yet, tying into lore from both The Conjuring and Annabelle franchises. With gothic set design, practical effects, and a thunderous score by Abel Korzeniowski, horror fans are already calling this the most anticipated horror release of the year.
The Nun 3: Blood of the Faithless is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on September 12, 2026.
