When a covert excavation team uncovers a lost pharaoh’s tomb beneath the sands of Giza, they inadvertently release a forgotten entity that predates the Egyptian pantheon — known in ancient texts only as “Momo.” With her twisted, bird-like features and ability to manipulate the minds of the living, the legend spreads beyond the sands and into the minds of millions.

Florence Pugh stars as Dr. Lena Rosenthal, a linguist and mythographer tasked with decoding the creature’s origins. Alongside Rami Malek as a rogue archaeologist with ties to the cult of the Momo-goddess, the team must survive an escalating nightmare as hallucinations, sandstorms, and mass hysteria sweep through Cairo and beyond.
