Where does this leave Ava?

Don’t get us wrong, General Hospital fans: We liked Cody and Sasha. We like Cody and Ava. But we are really, really, REALLY intrigued by Cody and Tracy.

Cody’s Blood Ties

Cody (Josh Kelly) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) had a really sweet chemistry going. Their breakup due to Sasha turning out to be the daughter of Holly (Emma Samms) and Robert (Tristan Rogers)—How? Why? When? Whaaaaat???—put a pin in that budding romance.

For Art’s Sake

And Ava (Maura West) is beautiful, brilliant, scheming, and scintillating. She and Cody have a nice chemistry, and we’d be happy to see where this unconventional relationship might be heading. Ava deserves a young, cute, fun guy who won’t judge her crimes…while hypocritically committing much, much worse ones. (Yes, of course, we’re talking about Sonny [Maurice Benard]. Who else could we be talking about?)

And Cody deserves the same level of slack in return. So, yes, CAva has potential. But…

Two of a Kind

Cody and Tracy (Jane Elliot) have always clicked. They’ve had many a friendly talk about all sorts of things… life… love… beer…. Most recently, they bumped into each other by the pool, where Cody assured Tracy she only liked him because she didn’t know him that well or that long, and Tracy replied that maybe that’s why she saw who he was, not who he used to be.

They shared a moment. You know they did! It was a nice moment. And, to be honest, we’re curious to see where CoRcy might lead, too….

Age is Just a Number

Sure, Tracy is a lot older than Cody. But they’ve both been unlucky in love. Very unlucky. They both deserve someone who will accept them for who they are. Someone fun. Who doesn’t have an epic past love lurking in their past? (Yes, of course, we’re talking about Luke [Anthony Geary]. Who else could we be talking about?)
