Lily doesn’t trust Victor as far as she can throw him, but she agreed to work with Victor. Now, Lily must rush to get Cane to stop his takeover plans to save his relationship with his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.

Lily asks Holden tough questions, refusing to accept any of his answers. She wants the truth because she fears that Cane is lying to her.

She cannot let down her guard with him until she knows the truth. Holden still refuses to come clean, claiming he told her everything he knows.
