Michael has not been lucky in love on General Hospital. Now that his marriage to Willow is over, will he turn to Jacinda?
Michael Can’t Win
Let’s face it, Michael (Rory Gibson) is a catch in Port Charles. He is handsome, kind in his personal life, while ruthless in business, a great dad, and both a Quartermaine and a Corinthos. Unfortunately, he cannot catch a break when it comes to love.
His first girlfriend, Abby (Andrea Bogart), was crushed to death on a construction site. He then fell for nurse Sabrina (Teresa Castillo), who some believe was his true love. Sabrina was 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed by a serial strangler while saving Monica (the late Leslie Charleson). It looked like falling for the golden boy was bad luck.
His relationship with Kiki (Haley Erin) started strong, but didn’t work out. Then came Nelle (Chloe Lanier), who turned out to be a psycho. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) loved Michael but sacrificed herself so that he could keep his son, Wiley (Viron Weaver). This led him to a marriage with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and we know how bad that turned out.
Michael And Jacinda?
Jacinda (Paige Herschell) could be trouble. The escort worked with Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Portia (Brook Kerr) to slip Drew (Cameron Mathison) some ketamine to destroy his reputation (not that he didn’t deserve it). Now, Michael is paying her to be his alibi for the night the congressman was shot. She doesn’t appear to be very trustworthy and may very well go back on her word if she is paid enough.
Things can also take a different turn. The two will be working together to keep their lie going and may form a bond. It’s easy to see Jacinda falling for the single dad. Michael does love a damsel in distress, and feelings may develop. Some fans have suggested a “Pretty Woman” scenario, where he can help her “change her ways.”
