Weddings and soaps go hand in hand and The Young and the Restless viewers are not only going to get to see Danny and Christine tie the knot yet again, fans will be able to pick the bride-to-be’s wedding dress. Yep, you read that right, starting today, September 19, you’ll have 24 hours to vote your favorite dress, as Lauralee Bell shared with US Weekly exclusively.
“When we heard that we were going to get remarried, I just thought, ‘These people have devoted so much of their lives to our show,’” Bell told the outlet. “Whenever there’s a way where we can incorporate them or make them understand how much they mean to us, we can’t do this without them.”
Bell may have already tried on the three dresses but she doesn’t have a favorite. She wants the fans to have the final say on what Christine wears while saying “I do” to Danny — something she hasn’t done since they first married in 1990. Though Danny has been asked to keep Phyllis away, we have to wonder if she’ll stay away — and whether or not she’ll have a special wedding gift for them. Remember what she secretly gave Christine and Paul? No one wants a dead octopus in their bed — no one!
So, how do you let your voice be heard? While Lauren will be helping Christine plan the wedding today, at 12:30pm PT/3:30 pm ET, fans can head on over to Young & Restless’ official Instagram to cast their vote one time.
