Today on General Hospital, Lulu has it out with Britt, Outback finds yet another new home, and Tracy breaks down over Monica’s death.
Alexis meets Molly at the bistro, where Molly tells her about Kristina’s stunt of hiring Cody to seduce Ava away from Ric. Molly says her plan actually worked, but in the process, she got close to Cody, and now she has feelings for the guy.
Alexis isn’t surprised and figures there must have been something behind her recent outbursts about Cody. Molly says Cody has a good heart, which he proved tonight.
What Is Brook Lynn’s Solution for Outback?
At the Quartermaine stables, Brook Lynn, looking for Cody, walks in on Gio and Emma kissing. Gio says he stepped out, and Brook Lynn learns Cody found Outback.
Cody returns and admits it’s going to be hard giving her up. Gio scoops the dog up to head out with Emma, but Brook Lynn asks them to stick around, as there is something they should know.
Brook Lynn gives them the news about Monica off-camera, and Emma notes how kind Dr. Quartermaine always was to her. She knows her mom will be really upset. Brook Lynn admits she’s worried about Tracy, who has remained composed so far, but she’s really devastated.
Emma and Gio have to head out, and Cody says goodbye to the dog. Brook Lynn suddenly gets the idea to make this place Outback’s home. She notes Rocco spends half his time here, so why not keep the dog here? Cody would love it, but the Qs made it clear he can’t have pets. Brook Lynn changes that rule, and Gio and Emma think Rocco would be good with it.
Tracy Gets an Unwanted Visitor
At the mansion, Tracy looks through photos of Monica when the doorbell rings. Then the person proceeds to bang on the door, so Tracy heads to answer it. It’s Lucy, whom Tracy slams the door on.
Lucy screams that this is about Deception business, and they must talk about it now. Lucy won’t be deterred, so Tracy opens the door and tells her not to speak and just enter.
Lucy walks in, and Tracy tells her to sit, which Lucy does in the living room. Tracy finally informs her that Monica died, and it’s been a trying day, and she lists off all the things she needs to do. Lucy makes her a drink and tells her she probably needs this the most.
Lucy begins to ramble on about Alan and their disastrous marriage. Tracy knows Monica was no angel either, and even with all their infidelities, they were the loves of each other’s lives.
Lucy notes that so many people loved Monica, and it’s nice to think Alan and Monica are reunited. Tracy cries that she hopes that is what happens, and they toast to Monica.
Michael Breaks the News to His Parents
Michael meets Carly and Sonny at Sonny’s place to tell them that Monica has died. He lets them know Jason is the one who found her, and he’s holding up.
Michael receives a call from the funeral home and steps away to attend to it. Carly tells Sonny how she hates this for their son, and Sonny wishes he could say things will get easier for Michael.
Michael returns, and Carly tells Michael he needs to take time to grieve and to let his mom and dad take care of him. He can put off telling the kids, and dealing with the funeral until tomorrow.
How Does Rocco React to Seeing Britt?
Britt walks into Bobbie’s and comes face to face with Rocco, who was talking to Charlotte about her. Rocco and Britt introduce themselves to one another, and Rocco is glad to meet her finally.
Charlotte heads outside to wait for their mom, giving them time to chat. Rocco explains he only recently found out about her, which is why he says he reached out to Obrecht. Britt is open to telling him whatever he’d like to know about her. Rocco would like that, but suggests they talk another time as his mom is likely waiting for him. He heads out.
Outside, Lulu finally arrives, and Charlotte warns her that Rocco is inside talking to Britt. Rocco soon emerges and tells his mom that Britt was nice, but it was a lot, and he’d like to go home. Lulu takes her kids home.
Can Lulu and Britt Make Peace?
Britt returns to Jason’s room and finds a box on her bed, with a ribbon around it. She opens it and is clearly shaken by what’s inside. Just then, Lulu knocks on her door, and Britt hides the box in the nightstand. She checks on Lulu, who has come to make peace for Rocco’s sake.
Britt invites her in, and Lulu says Rocco wants to get to know her, and she’d like to set guidelines to protect him. Britt asks how Lulu can set guidelines for her to see her own son.
Lulu once again points out that Britt is nothing but a test-tube where Rocco is concerned, and she can’t believe she was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. Lulu rants that she heard that Britt had grown as a person. However, she can see that Britt is still the same toxic, self-involved witch that she’s always been. She left her mother heartbroken when Britt faked her own death, and it’s clear she only cares about herself. Britt can tell Lulu is threatened by her as she’s every bit a mother to Rocco as Lulu, maybe even more.
Back at the stables, Emma calls Rocco, and he and Charlotte are on board with Outback staying there.
How Is Nathan Alive?
At the hospital, Dante tells Anna there was nothing in the car or on their victim to identify him, but how can this be Nathan? Anna says this doesn’t make sense, but Britt’s back now, too, and this can’t be a coincidence.
In the patient’s room, Lucas orders several tests on the unconscious man who looks just like Nathan West. Liz walks in and has called for a neurology consult, and then is stunned when she sees who the patient looks like.
Lucas speaks with Anna and Dante, saying their mystery man is in good shape, and he’s unsure why he’s still unconscious. They’ll know more when they get a CT scan. An officer arrives, and Anna asks him to collect a DNA sample from the man, along with his fingerprints, to determine if they match those of Nathan West.
Dante, Liz, Lucas and Anna discuss what to do about Nathan and who to tell. Anna wants this kept quiet for now and to admit the man as a John Doe.
Later, Dante and Anna discuss if it is Nathan, then where has he been all this time? Anna says she’ll have to question Britt and see what she may know. Dante feels this is impossible, but Anna says, “Not when you consider Nathan and Britt are Obrecht and Faison’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Dante asks if they should notify the WSB, but Anna wants a better grasp of the situation first. This man might not be Nathan. Liz interrupts and says the patient’s CT scans are in.
In the Show’s Final Moments
In John Doe’s room, Lucas tells Dante and Anna that the patient has no brain trauma, and they’ll have to wait for him to wake up to find out more. Anna receives a call about the prints, and they confirm this is Nathan West.
At Bobbie’s, Britt gloats to Lulu that she has all kinds of 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 stories to share with Rocco, but Lulu will never allow that. She warns her to stay away from Rocco and storms out. Britt yells back, “His name is Ben!”
Britt then retrieves the box, which is vials of medication and a note that says, “Don’t forget to take your medicine! C.” (C for Cesar Faison?)
At the bistro, Molly fills her mom in on the Outback drama, and that Cody refused to take the reward for finding him. Molly fears she might regret pursuing this thing with Cody. Alexis says Molly’s never been one to take risks with her heart, and maybe she should take a risk. Molly thinks maybe her mother could be right.
In the stables, Gio asks Brook Lynn to tell Tracy how sorry he is about Monica. Gio and Emma leave, and Cody notes Emma will be here more often to visit Outback, and Gio will be here because Emma is. He says that means she’ll be running into her son more often, which will be great for Brook Lynn.
At Sonny’s, Michael sits down to a meal with his parents, and they toast to Monica.
Finally, at the Quartermaine mansion, Lucy heads out, but not before commenting on how magnificent the staircase is. Tracy says it’s the one thing in the house that Alan wanted for Monica. She cries, as she always thought it was tacky, as was Monica, but she was so wrong. Lucy heads out, and Tracy heads up the staircase, but collapses on it in tears.
On the next General Hospital, Felicia is stunned when she walks into a hospital room and sees Nathan in the bed.
