The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 24, demonstrate what happens when Lauren finds out Michael has been lying and Kyle finds out that Audra doesn’t find him intimidating at all.

Victor (Eric Braeden) thought the biggest insult he could lob Michael’s (Christian J. LeBlanc) way was to sneer that he thought his wife wore the pants in Michael’s family. (With friends like these, who needs…) Michael sidestepped the burn, the same way he does whenever Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Cane (Billy Flynn) try the same nonsense.
But he does care what Lauren (Tracy Bregman) thinks. And he knows Lauren doesn’t want him working for Victor. Of course, Michael is pretending to be working for Cane… while secretly working for Victor. We can’t wait to hear what Lauren will have to say about that!
Is Kyle Smarter than Audra?
Kyle (Michael Mealor) told anyone who would listen that he played Audra (Zuleyka Silver), and boy, isn’t he smart? Kyle cost Audra her company! Who cares that she turned around and cost him Claire (Hayley Erin)?
Now that Claire is barely speaking to him, Kyle needs somebody to lord it over. So he tries Audra again. She isn’t interested and gives back as good as she got—better, even. Be quiet, Kyle. The grown-ups are talking.
A Little Billy About Jack and Diane
You know who else doesn’t listen? Billy (Jason Thompson). Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) keep trying to talk sense into him. Because they did such a great job with Kyle.
At a certain point, you’ve just got to let these two make their own dumb decisions. Just keep them from destroying the family company, and consider that a win! They both love what it means to be an Abbot when it’s all fun and games. Neither one wants to take responsibility for actually protecting it.
