Welcome to Your Exclusive Canadian Day-Ahead Y&R Recap!

Welcome back to your Canadian day-ahead Y&R recap, where we’re living 24 hours in the future and the drama is absolutely UNHINGED! Wednesday’s episode delivers everything we’ve been waiting for—Nick Newman finally throwing hands, Audra Charles getting exposed as a literal criminal, and Noah Newman’s soap amnesia continuing to be the most convenient plot device ever. Let’s dive into this beautiful disaster!

Nick Newman Channels His Inner Action Hero At The Shadow Room

Let’s start with the MAIN EVENT: Nick Newman finally—FINALLY—gets to confront Matt Clark, and honestly? He doesn’t waste time with words. Nick walks into The Shadow Room and lurks in the shadows (very on-brand for a place called “The Shadow Room”) while Detective Burrows interrogates Sienna about Noah’s accident.

The detective is asking ALL the right questions. Why did Sienna call Noah? What time did she leave the club? And here’s where it gets JUICY—Sienna and Mitch live in MALIBU CANYON, which is conveniently near Noah’s crash site! The detective points out that a late-night drive through Malibu Canyon isn’t exactly normal tourist behavior, and wonders if Noah was heading to visit Mitch that night.

Mitch claims he wasn’t even in town that night (sure, Jan), and the detective finally leaves. Sienna is VISIBLY relieved, and Mitch starts questioning HER about why she’s so jumpy. He thinks something seems “off” about Noah having an accident on their side of town.

But before they can continue their sketchy conversation, Nick Newman runs up, grabs Mitch by the shoulder, and SUCKER PUNCHES HIM IN THE FACE!

Ladies and gentlemen, Nick Newman said “I’m done talking” and went straight to VIOLENCE! Honestly, after watching Matt Clark dodge accountability for DAYS, we can’t even blame him. This man faked his own death, came back as “Mitch Bacall,” possibly tried to murder Noah, and has been playing innocent this entire time. Nick Newman is DONE, and we are HERE FOR IT!

Young And The Restless Scoop November 5: Nick Decks Matt Clark - Audra Stole Half A Million Dollars - The Soap Scoop

Holden Novak Finally Spills About Audra Charles’ Criminal Past

Meanwhile, in Claire Newman’s LA hotel room, Holden shows up just as she’s packing to leave. He tells her there’s something he MUST confess about his past with Audra, and honestly? This tea is SCALDING.

Flashback time! Years ago, Holden was a bartender at The Shadow Lounge (yes, apparently EVERY storyline connects to a nightclub owned by sketchy people). Audra was an “artist” (we’re using that term LOOSELY) who came in regularly with a creepy patron who was clearly trying to get her drunk.

When the patron got too aggressive, Holden stepped in and kicked him out. But here’s where Audra’s true colors showed: she LIFTED THE GUY’S WALLET! The next day, she came back to the bar BEGGING Holden to say he found the wallet and return it to the patron.

When Holden returned the wallet, the patron immediately noticed something was missing—a CASHIER’S CHECK FOR $500,000 MADE OUT TO “CASH”! He accused Holden and Audra of robbing him, and things got MESSY. The bar owner (who happens to be Mitch—yes, THAT Mitch) defended Holden and promised that Audra would pay for what she did.

But plot twist! Audra fled to London, cashed that check somewhere, and CHANGED HER ENTIRE NAME from “Audra Cortez” to “Audra Charles” to avoid getting caught! And here’s the WILDEST part—Audra eventually sent Holden $100,000 as a “thank you” for keeping quiet, which he KEPT! So if Audra goes down, Holden goes down too!

Claire wants to know the patron’s name so she can use it as leverage against Audra (girl is LEARNING from the Newmans!), but Holden refuses to tell her. He admits he’s basically an accessory to Audra’s crime at this point, which makes his whole “I’m a good guy” act a little less convincing!

Y&R Spoilers: Noah Newman’s Amnesia Continues Being Suspiciously Convenient

At the hospital, Noah is awake but still wrapped in bandages like a mummy, and he STILL can’t remember anything about his accident. His family is thrilled he’s alive, but they’re also increasingly worried that someone actively tried to harm him.

Nick reassures Noah that his scars will just make him look like a “badass” (classic dad move), but when Noah asks what happened, Nick keeps the explanation vague—just a car accident, nobody else hurt, nothing to worry about! Yeah, because that’s TOTALLY convincing, Nick.

Sharon tells Nikki and Victoria that Noah can’t remember anything, and the doctor reassures them this is “normal” and his memory will return soon. Translation: Noah’s amnesia will conveniently last exactly as long as the writers need it to for maximum drama!

After Noah is taken for a CT scan, Nick tells Sharon he has to leave to confront Matt Clark. Sharon agrees that Matt might have caused Noah’s accident, and Nick is DETERMINED to let Matt know he made a “huge mistake” by coming back into their lives. Spoiler alert: that mistake is about to result in Nick’s fist connecting with Matt’s face!

Victoria wants Noah to come back to Genoa City to recover, and they all wonder if there’s an active threat to Noah’s life. Nikki says Victor is looking into it (because OF COURSE Victor is involved—the man can’t resist a good conspiracy), and they change the subject to Claire and Holden.

Nikki thinks Claire is “tougher than she looks,” and Victoria agrees but admits she doesn’t know anything about Holden. Ladies, if you only KNEW that Holden is sitting on a $500K theft secret and took a $100K hush money payment! Claire might be in WAY over her head with this one!

Detective Burrows Is Asking ALL The Right Questions

Back at The Shadow Room, Detective Burrows is grilling Sienna about Noah’s accident, and this “detective” (we’re using air quotes because he seems VERY connected to Mitch) is asking surprisingly pointed questions.

He wants to know why Sienna called Noah, what time she left the club, and why her home address is conveniently near the crash site. Sienna gets DEFENSIVE and asks if he’s accusing her of being involved, and the detective plays it cool—he’s just “trying to get to the bottom of things!”

After he leaves, Mitch starts questioning Sienna about why she’s so jumpy, which is RICH coming from a man who faked his own death and is currently living under an assumed identity! These two are DEFINITELY hiding something about Noah’s accident, and we have a feeling Nick’s punch is just the beginning of their problems!
