Victoria Newman is handing control of the beauty brand Vbronte to her mother, Nikki Newman, a decision driven by her inability to focus while carrying on a secret romance with Kyle Abbott. The two have been meeting privately since late August at the Riverbank Motel and behind closed doors at Jabau. Nikki has officially agreed to step in as CEO of Vbronte. But she quickly rejects the plan Victoria had set in motion, including the staged social media feud against Jabau.
Nikki has called the approach professional suicide and wants a legitimate business strategy instead. Her first act as boss is to shut down the fake war with the Abbotts before it becomes public. That decision leaves Kyle Abbott in a difficult position. He had pitched the revived rivalry to his father, Jack Abbott, as a strategic opportunity to strike back at Victor Newman.

That puts Vbronte in the middle, positioned as a possible weapon in a wider conflict.
