Love, secrets, and second chances collide in Fairmont Crest as one couple looks toward marriage while another teeters on the edge of disaster.
Fresh off Kat Richardson’s miraculous recovery, Tomas is convinced life is too short to wait. After nearly losing the woman he loves during her life-saving liver donation surgery, he decides he doesn’t want to waste another moment.
His solution?
A marriage proposal.
Tomas secretly meets with Chelsea and proudly shows her the engagement ring he has purchased. He admits he plans to ask Kat to marry him as soon as the time feels right.
Unfortunately, Chelsea is far from enthusiastic.
Rather than congratulating him, she immediately warns that the proposal is a terrible idea. In her eyes, Tomas is acting out of fear after nearly losing Kat instead of thinking about what Kat actually wants.
Chelsea reminds him that Kat has only just survived a dangerous operation after feeling pressured by nearly everyone around her to donate part of her liver to Eva. The last thing Kat needs now is another life-changing decision being placed in front of her before she has fully recovered.
Despite Chelsea’s concerns, Tomas refuses to back down.
After he leaves to play golf with Bill Hamilton and the judge overseeing Madison’s upcoming trial, Chelsea becomes even more worried. She calls Madison to tell her Tomas is about to make a huge mistake.
When Naomi joins the conversation, she sides with Chelsea.
Both women agree that Tomas is rushing into an engagement for the wrong reasons. They believe Kat deserves the chance to recover physically and emotionally before anyone asks her to make another major commitment.
Madison, however, disagrees.
She believes Chelsea and Naomi are overreacting and thinks Tomas is simply following his heart after realizing how close he came to losing the woman he loves.
Meanwhile, another awkward encounter unfolds elsewhere.
Andre crosses paths with Bill and Tomas at the gym and wastes no time reminding Bill that Dani is no longer his concern.
“Dani is my responsibility now.”
The comment immediately changes the atmosphere.
Bill does his best to hide his emotions, but hearing Andre speak so confidently about Dani reminds him of the secret they continue hiding—the passionate encounter they shared in the elevator during the tornado.
Unable to fully suppress his feelings, Bill quietly smirks.
Earlier, Naomi had already noticed something was off after catching her father smiling to himself while obviously thinking about Dani. She questions Bill directly, but he carefully dodges every question, refusing to admit that he has been reliving the elevator encounter.
Instead, the conversation shifts to Madison’s upcoming trial.
When Bill casually mentions he has a golf game planned with the presiding judge, Naomi immediately becomes suspicious. Knowing her father’s reputation for manipulating situations to his advantage, she firmly warns him not to blackmail, threaten, or pressure the judge in any way.
Bill insists everything is innocent, but Naomi clearly remains unconvinced.
Back on the golf course, Tomas surprises both Bill and Andre by revealing his own secret.
He tells them he plans to propose to Kat.
Looking for advice, Tomas asks the two men how he should handle such an important moment.
Both Bill and Andre encourage him to ignore everyone else’s opinions and make the proposal personal. They tell him to follow his own heart rather than copying someone else’s idea of romance.
Andre even tells Tomas he hopes his marriage will be as happy as his own relationship with Dani.
The irony is impossible to miss.
As Andre speaks proudly about his wife, Bill can only stand there wearing a knowing smile, fully aware of the devastating secret that could destroy Andre’s marriage if it ever comes to light.
With Tomas preparing to propose, Bill struggling to bury his feelings for Dani, and Naomi growing increasingly suspicious of her father, Fairmont Crest may soon witness both a joyful engagement and a heartbreaking scandal—all at the same time.
