Mr. Matz, the person who brokered the purchase, refused to identify the identity of the buyer. It was immediately unsuccessful in contacting Mr. Carter for comment.

The property has approximately 110 feet of sea frontage and a dock and is located on Allison Island, a 35-acre island in Biscayne Bay. According to Mr. Matz, the home was built in 2017 and has around 10,600 square feet of space spread among seven bedrooms. There is also a home theater with suede wall coverings and a mahogany-paneled foyer. Sliding glass doors lead to the garden, which has a large pool.

The site, which faces west and has a view of La Gorce Island, is one of the larger ones available on the island, according to Mr. Matz, and is around 0.5 acres in size. He asserted that the lot is a serious contender for the title of “the best lot” on Allison Island because of its size and location.

In general, he stated that purchasers have less of a sense of urgency than they had the previous year, but the market is still robust with limited inventory. “Properties that are priced correctly and in the right locations are selling,” he added. “People are buying.”
