THIS is the dramatic moment a great white shark sunk its teeth into a diving cage.
The resurfaced clip of the frenzied attack was captured by Ewan Wilson on a shark dive in Mossel Bay, South Africa.

Heart-pounding footage shows the great white frantically chewing the cage’s bars.
The shark then appears above the surface as it tries its luck at penetrating the railing above.
Crew members are heard banging the boat and yelling to get the predator to stop.
“Luckily the animal left the cage and no divers or sharks were hurt,” Wilson said.
The clip recently went viral on social media but was actually filmed in 2018.
South Africa has seen 37 fatal shark attacks in the past 25 years, and shark activity between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town increases over the winter during the annual sardine run – an important source of food for the creatures at this time of year.
In 2011, local carpenter and keen surfer Tim Van Heerden was fatally attacked by a great white shark while he waited to catch a wave.
The creature bit him twice as it knocked him into the sea, severing the femoral artery.
Great Whites can grow up to 20 feet long and have up to 300 razor sharp teeth contained within their giant jaws.
They can swim up to 35mph and normally feast on seals, sea lions and dolphins – but can mistake humans in wetsuits for their usual meal.
It comes after news that the feared predators could soon appear in UK waters including at a popular tourist destination, according to researchers.
Marine experts at Ocearch claimed the predators could migrate north from the Mediterranean in search of seals and begin appearing off the shores of northern France and around Cornwall.
Elsewhere, a diver a managed to escape unscathed from the jaws of a great white shark in 2021.
Terrifying photos also showed a monster 20ft shark dwarfing a research cage as it swam through a spool of shimmering mackerel.
