Real Madrid have shown a distinct focus on signing talented young individuals with potential to become superstars in recent years.
The strategy has proven to be a great success as Los Blancos have assembled a top-notch squad comprising some of the best rising stars in the world such as Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes, Federico Valverde, and more recently Jude Bellingham.
Arda Guler and Endrick’s signings were also made in line with this strategy and Los Blancos continue to keep an eye out on exciting young talents across the globe.
Real Madrid following Alejandro Garnacho
Indeed, according to reports relayed by Fichajes, Real Madrid have shifted their focus to Manchester United teenage attacking prodigy Alejandro Garnacho.
A former trainee of the Atletico Madrid academy, Garnacho left Spain for England in the summer of 2020 and has slowly gained prominence at Manchester United.
The 19-year-old winger was a part of Erik ten Hag’s plans during the 2022/23 campaign, making 34 senior appearances in which he contributed five goals and assists apiece.
Garnacho has featured thrice this season and is set to gain more prominence now that Antony and Jadon Sancho are not in contention to play at Manchester United.

The Argentine youngster’s promise and potential have not escaped Real Madrid’s attention with transfer chief Juni Calafat closely following his development at Manchester United.
Garnacho signed a new contract recently
However, signing Garnacho from Manchester United, if Real Madrid do decide to go down that route, could be difficult.
The 19-year-old penned a long-term contract renewal at the club only a few months ago, committing his future to the Red Devils until 2028.
Furthermore, at his age, Garnacho needs regular game-time, something that might not be possible at Real Madrid as Vinicius Jr occupies the position on the left flank.
For now, though, there is nothing concrete beyond Calafat and Real Madrid following the Manchester United starlet’s progress.
