Chelsea were booed off the pitch for the second match in a row as they drew 0-0 at Bournemouth on Sunday.
Owner Todd Boehly has splashed out more than £1billion in just three transfer windows, but there is yet to be any sign of improvement.
Pochettino has taken just five points from five games this season
Chelsea and Bournemouth could not find the breakthrough at the Vitality Stadium
Mauricio Pochettino’s side had 17 shots against the Cherries, including ten on target, but failed to break the deadlock.
It meant they have taken just five points from their opening five matches, having scored just five goals.
Their only win of the campaign so far has come against rock bottom Luton Town, while they still only have six wins in 2023.
Frustrations boiled over for the Chelsea supporters who made the trip to the Vitality Stadium, as they booed their team at the final whistle.
Pochettino’s side were booed off in their last game before the international break too, a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge.
A video shared on social media also shows Chilwell going up to Blues fans after the final whistle, but receiving abuse.
It also means Chelsea have made their second worst start ever in the Premier League era.
That worst start came in the 2015/16 campaign when they took just four points from five matches.
Chilwell received abuse from Chelsea fans
Speaking to Sky Sports, Pochettino said: “The fans are disappointed because of the situation but I am not worried about that.
“I say that because we really know what we are doing — we deserved to win.”
There are some mitigating factors to their poor start as 12 players are unavailable for Pochettino with several places on the bench filled with youngsters.
Chelsea’s next match is at Stamford Bridge against Aston Villa next Sunday.
