Playing golf is fun and even more when someone does it alongside their đ˜€đ˜©đ˜Șđ˜đ˜„ren. That was the case for Tiger Woods on Monday in Pinehurst, as he practiced for this week’s U. S. Open with his 15-year-old son, Charlie.

The young Woods helped his dad prepare for the upcoming tournament just before Tiger’s debut in Pinehurt No. 2 in North Carolina on Thursday, as he is set to tee for the first time since missing the cut at last month’s PGA Championship played in Louisville.

Many pictures served as proof of what was a very enjoyable day between the two, with both being spotted at various points alongside many other golfers that were preparing for the start of the very important golfing event. Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler were the ones playing were Tiger and his son were practicing just like them.

Everyone got lucky enough to see his training session that almost did not happen

Tiger Woods was not going to participate in this event, the only reason he will be teeing off at the U. S. Open is because the three-time tournament winner was given an exemption into the field. The 48-year-old golfer missed the cut at The Masters in April and withdrew from the Genesis Invitational in February due to the flu.

Injuries and illnesses have sadly been a part of his game as of late and therefore it is hard to imagine he can be in contention for this week’s tournament. His level pf play has not been ideal or even near to what he once presented but it is still a menace to have someone like Tiger Woods as a competitor.

“I need to play more,” he said a few weeks ago. “Unfortunately, I just haven’t played a whole lot of tournaments, (and there are) not a whole lot of tournaments on my schedule, either. Hopefully, everything will somehow come together in my practice sessions at home and be ready for Pinehurst.”

Woods last won a major at the 2019 Masters, which was his first major triumph since the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. “Physically, I am better than I was (in April.) I still have more ways to go, lots of improvement to go physically, and hopefully my team and I can get that done pre-Pinehurst and going into it.”
