Phil Mickelson shares ‘best advice’ from $138,900,000,000-worth investor, admits it is ‘hard’ to practice restraint

Phil Mickelson took to X to share ‘best advice’ from the world’s most successful investor, $138 billion worth, Warren Buffett. He quoted an image that featured a tweet of Warren Buffet’s wisdom.

It read:

“You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True power is sitting back and observing things with logic. True power is restraint. If words control you that means everyone else can control you. Breathe and allow things to pass.”

The LIV Golfer quoted it and wrote:

“The best advice is usually hard to do but the most impactful.”

Mickelson recently participated in the LIV Golf United Kingdom last week. Mickelson performed better this year and finished tied at T34.

Phil Mickelson will not be participating in the ongoing men’s competition in the Paris Olympics 2024 as he was ranked 185th in the Official World Golf Rankings on the cutoff date after the US Open. He was far from Collin Morikawa who made it to the field at Le Golf National ranked No. 7 on the cutoff date.

Robert MacIntyre had a ‘cool’ Open Championship 2024 with Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson and Robert MacIntyre were paired together for the final round of the Open Championship 2024 at Royal Troon. MacIntyre and Mickelson were never in contention and finished at T51 and T60, respectively.

In the post-round press conference, MacIntyre was all praise for Mickelson and said:

“To get to play with an idol, someone that you’ve shaped your golf game around. If it wasn’t watching my dad play golf, it was watching Phil Mickelson play golf, and it was cool to walk the fairways with him, as well, and get chatting to him. It was just cool.”

Both MacIntyre and Mickelson have been equally appreciative of each other in the past. They even expressed their excitement after they were paired together via posts on X (formerly Twitter).

A look at Phil Mickelson’s performance in the 2024 season
