Abandoned Dog Found Chained In Backyard Couldn’t Believe That He Is Being Rescued

One day, when a man was returning home to Detroit, he came across a chained  dog in the backyard. And without hesitation seek help immediately.

Fortunately, Rebel  Dogs Detroit responded to the call right away. They sent Tiffany Perkins, one of their volunteers, to investigate the situation. Upon arriving at the scene, Tiffany wasn’t sure what to expect. But her heart melted when she first laid eyes on the decanter.

According to Perkins Baker looked frightened. Take refuge behind the garage. He glanced outside for a moment when I started calling him.. as I got closer his tail started wagging with excitement. Soon we began to massage him gently, obviously. Bend over to us for support. Because of his enthusiasm and lovable “meep” sounds reminiscent of the Muppet we named him Beaker.

Having been abandoned and chained before we arrived, Becker was understandably anxious at first. But once he realized Perkins was there to help him all his fears seemed to vanish. He was overjoyed at the prospect of meeting his friend.

Perkins fondly remembers how eagerly Baker fell to the floor, for belly rubs, kisses and antics as soon as we released him from the Garage series.

Sadly though, the chain became tangled around Baker’s neck during his ordeal; So Perkins quickly took him to the vet for a checkup.

Perkins used the time to shower Baker with an emotion he had never experienced before while they waited patiently for Baker to undergo the chain removal procedure. As a result, the adorable puppy was filled with joy and happiness.

While awaiting surgery, Perkins recalled, “we had a lot of quality time together” during our five-hour drive. He soon drifted off to sleep, his head resting on my lap.

Despite all that Becker has been through, his only wish is to feel loved. And now that longing has finally been fulfilled.

While Becker is recovering from surgery in his home, he’s the dog you’ll ever meet. His past experiences now seem distant; What really matters is where he is at this moment and all the new friends who really care about him and want nothing but the best for him.

According to Perkins the Baker is slowly adjusting to being a dog receiving love from his foster home.

Baker dreams of finding his perfect home where he can have a playful canine companion who can continue to teach him new things and provide him with a nurturing environment. He is so eagerly looking forward to finding the loving family he deserves and was so grateful to see the rescuers.
