David Pastrnak has high praise for his new teammate, Elias Lindholm after the Boston Bruins signed him. Lindholm joined the Bruins on a seven-year, $54.25 million contract. As a forward, he is expected to be an important asset for the team.

Pastrnak compared Lindholm’s play to Bruins legends David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron.

“He has a little bit of both Krejci and Bergeron,” Pastrnak said. “He’s a hell of a two-way player, and he has a high hockey IQ.”

Lindholm has made a strong impression on the team. He was seen as a possible replacement for Bergeron because of his solid two-way play. In the 2022 race for the Selke Trophy, he finished second to Bergeron. Offensively, Lindholm is also quite s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed. In the 2022-23 season with the Calgary Flames, he scored 22 goals and had 64 points in 80 games.

Pastrnak is excited to build chemistry with Lindholm, especially since he plays with a right-handed centerman.

“He’s a righty, you know, and I’ve played most of my career with a right-handed centerman, so I’m really excited to build the chemistry. Whether we play together or not, we’ll for sure have some looks on the power play or five-on-five. He’s going to be a big part of our team.” Pastrnak added.

David Pastrnak’s excitement shows high hopes for Lindholm in the upcoming season. Bruins fans will look forward to seeing how he performs in 2024-25. With support from teammates like Pastrnak, Lindholm is ready to make an impact in Boston.

David Pastrnak has clear priorities with the Boston Bruins

David Pastrnak is a key player for the Boston Bruins. Last season, he led the team with 47 goals and 110 points. His contributions far exceeded those of his teammates.

Pastrnak has had a strong NHL career with the Boston Bruins. He has reached the Stanley Cup playoffs eight times in the last decade. In 2019, he played in the Stanley Cup final and was part of Boston’s 65 win-season in 2022-23.

Despite his success, Pastrnak has not yet won a Stanley Cup. He is eager to help the Bruins win the title for the first time since 2011.

“I want to win the Cup.” Pastrnak said Friday at Bruin’s training camp.

This summer, David Pastrnak won a gold medal with the Czech Republic at the 2024 World Championships. He scored in the gold medal game, helping his team win 2-0. This victory has motivated him to achieve similar success with the Bruins.
