General Hospital spoilers reveal Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is leaving GH this fall, and we have a feeling her death may come at the hands of someone she once loved with all her heart.

The closer that Sam gets to unearthing the truth about Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) cover story that is protecting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from persecution for the very murder of FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), the closer she may get to crossing a line with the mob boss she can’t come back from.

Not only would Sam’s sleuthing stand to take Sonny down and out, but Carly would end up sharing a cell right beside him.

They can’t have that. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may warn Sam to steer clear of the case, but with her mom’s life on the line, that’s not likely. Of course, the last thing she would ever expect is that Sonny would order Jason to take her out. That’s the last thing Jason ever saw coming too. Will he do it?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Mother Of His Child

Few love stories can rival that of Sam and Jason. We fell in love with them falling in love with each other. While the demise of their marriage may have felt tragic at the time, the Sam we knew and loved back then is so far removed from who she’s become today.

We have to wonder whether it’s the same for Jason. Does he look at Sam and still see the woman he once fell in love with, or does he see the pale version of her she has devolved into? If the latter, maybe this won’t be as hard of a decision as one might think, but we suspect that isn’t true.

It’s the ultimate test of loyalty, and one that shouldn’t surprise Sam one bit in the end. She has been let down again and again learning the same painful lesson — that Jason will always put Sonny and most especially Carly ahead of everyone else in his life.

If forced to choose between protecting the boss man and the real woman who stole his heart before he ever even met Sam, we know he’s going to choose Carly and protect the business — even if it means 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ing the mother of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 whom he once promised to love forever.

Of course, just because Jason knows how to finish a job doesn’t mean he has to like it or that it won’t have any effect on him.

He can’t just 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) mom and still look his son in the eyes. This could be what destroys their relationship forever.
