General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that fans were completely caught off guard last week when a mysterious gun package showed up at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) office. It seemingly was the very weapon that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was seen throwing over the bridge, so the good news is that once everything is tested, she could end up being released from jail.

GH Fans were buzzing about who found the gun and discreetly delivered it to the PCPD. While viewer speculation ran wild, this action does seemingly have Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) written all over it. But in order to solve one problem, has he created another?

General Hospital Spoilers – Jack Brennan’s Goal – A Romance With Carly Spencer

GH spoilers remind fans just how smitten Brennan is with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). He’s on the cusp of a romance with her, but the only thing standing in his way is the pesky alibi she recently gave to help clear Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) name when it came to John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) shooting.

Now, Sonny and Carly have to pretend they are reconciling, as she stated, on record, that she hopped into bed with her ex the very moment that John Cates was being shot.

Carly recently met Brennan at his Metro Court hotel room and was caught in the act by PI Elaine (Judy Kain), who was hired by Alexis’ attorney, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to poke holes in Sonny’s alibi story. Carly and Brennan did nothing, but there was a ton of flirting going on.

Of course, Brennan is laser-focused on spending time with Carly, so having to refrain from doing so because of Carly’s alibi, and the PI following her needed to be nipped in the bud. Still, has Brennan just created more problems for Carly?

GH Spoilers – Blowing The Case Wide Open

With this gun evidence, it looks like Alexis will be released. The gun is what she needed to prove she was innocent of shooting John Cates.

As Alexis will be cleared, the police will need to focus their investigation on someone else, so will they naturally look to Sonny?

As the PI did snap pictures of Carly with Brennan, and Sonny seems overly smitten with Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), will the PCPD realize CarSon’s alibi is a fake and try to get them both to fess up to the truth? Could this gun discovery end up landing Carly in more hot water than she bargained for?
