General Hospital spoilers claim Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) may have reacted as expected when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) told him that Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) confided in him years ago that she was still in love with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Then would have been the time — if any — to tell Dante that morsel of truth. But she didn’t, and now that she would love to more than ever, Spinelli has encouraged her not to.

Telling him now would only upend his emotions more at a time when it’s unfair for him to know how she felt since there is nothing he can do about it. He’s moved on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) — who is clearly another dear friend of Maxie’s and Spin’s and is about to do a miraculously selfless thing for Lulu. So what’s with Maxie’s animosity and anger?

General Hospital Spoilers — She Just Wants What We All Want

Maxie longs for Lulu and Dante to have another chance to make things right. She feels they were robbed of that. For the last almost-three years since Lulu fell into a coma, She has kept this secret to herself as she watched Dante move on with Sam.

Knowing that it was best for him and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) while wishing Lulu would wake up and come back to them so that they didn’t need some replacement partner and mom in their lives…even if it was someone else she approved of.

Recall that Lulu and Dante had to go through quite an unspeakable ordeal when Maxie was planning to be their surrogate and thought she had a miscarriage. A one-night slip-up with Spinelli led to her getting pregnant with his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 — Georgie Spinelli (Lili Fisher) — instead. The catch?

She let Dante and Lulu believe it was their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, until she couldn’t anymore. This broke their hearts and nearly broke her relationship with all parties involved.

Does Maxie think that by getting Lulu and Dante back together, she might further make amends and atone for the guilt she still feels in her heart?

General Hospital Spoilers — Damian Spinelli Never Could Control That Woman

Spinelli’s guidance doesn’t always carry a ton of weight with Maxie, but it’s getting better. We saw that in action when Maxie happened upon him in a storage closet with Sam hacking into the FBI’s evidentiary database.

Coming clean with her about what illegal practice he was up to was new for Spinelli. He normally likes to keep Maxie out of that fray.

At the same time, Maxie has only just now opened up to Spinelli about this secret she’s known for years. Are they mature enough to respect each other’s opinions and listen to sound wisdom yet?
