Risdon, noticing the boys looked cold and wet, asked if they had eaten dinner yet and invited them to order whatever they wanted.

The act of generosity was recorded by a fellow diner, Jason Gibson, who shared the footage on social media, prompting widespread admiration for Risdon’s actions.

Risdon attributed his motivation to help to the Ranger Creed, emphasizing his duty to assist others, referring to the boys as his comrades.

The incident has inspired many, highlighting the honorable nature of military personnel and the impact of small acts of kindness in the community.

Keir Starmer backs the ‘thought Police’ – Prime Minister told to ‘police streets, not tweets’ as row builds after No10 supports officers recording controversial ‘non-crime hate incidents’

Keir Starmer was last night told to ‘police the streets, not tweets’ after he backed the controversial investigation of ‘non-crime hate incidents’. The Prime Minister came under fire after No 10 said he supported police action to ‘capture data’ on incidents and comments which are not serious enough to constitute a crime. Critics say the growing trend is a waste of police time and risks having a ‘chilling effect’ on free speech, with officers sometimes dealing with malicious complaints that amount to little more than hurt feelings.
