Selena Gomez has been trying to hone her cooking s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s on her HBO Max show Selena + Chef, which premiered its second season on Thursday.
And to celebrate, the 28-year-old singer shared a hilarious Selena + Chef blooper reel with her fans.
From spilling on the counter top to gagging at the smell of raw fish, the playful mishaps seen in the video are rather endearing, with Selena asking: ‘Is it really an episode of Selena + Chef if I don’t make at least one mistake?’

As cooking comes with trial and error, each episode of Selena + Chef sees a bit of each as the actress tries to master the craft.
In the bloopers shared Thursday, Selena looks incredibly animated – ranging from elation to defeat – as she is walks through dishes step by step with no in person guidance.
At the end of each episode, Gomez donates money to a food-related charity of that chef’s particular choice, and this season is set to feature the talents of chefs such as Jose Andres and Kelis.

In another, the former Disney darling reluctantly guts a fish with a spoon as she laments, ‘Why are y’all doing this to me?’
Though the show features virtual instruction she has friends and family pay her visits in the kitchen as they try her food and provide honest feedback.

In addition to this project she has recently delighted her followers by finally releasing tracks from the rumored Spanish-language album she has been teasing for over a decade.
In 2011 she tweeted, ‘Can’t wait for y’all to hear the Spanish record;) it’s sounding so cool.’
Honoring her heritage: In addition to the HBO Max show she also released a new Spanish-language track last week that many purport is off a full Spanish album she has been teasing for over a decade
Seeming to confirm the album after years of speculation, she told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in a January 11 interview:
‘This has been something I’ve wanted to do for 10 years, working on a Spanish project, because I’m so, so proud of my heritage, and just genuinely felt like I wanted this to happen.’
She continued, ‘I feel like it’s the perfect timing. Just with all the division in the world, there’s something about Latin music that globally just makes people feel things, you know?’
Currently she is in NYC filming a new Steve Martin directed comedy for Hulu, Only Murders In The Building, a show about true crime obsessed strangers who happen to find themselves involved in one.
