Other than Momoa, the Minecraft Movie cast includes Jack Black, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge.
During Minecraft Live 2024 (via ComicBook), director Jared Hess revealed more details about Jason Momoa’s character in A Minecraft Movie. The director revealed that Garrett is a former world champion video gamer from the late 1980s who is stuck in the past and hasn’t matured much since then. However, despite his gaming experience, he is inexperienced when it comes to Minecraft.
