Carlos Bremer Gutiérrez, destacado empresario mexicano y presidente de Value Grupo Financiero, falleció el 5 de enero de 2024 a los 63 años, tras complicaciones derivadas de un preinfarto que sufrió días antes. Bremer, quien había sido hospitalizado luego de desvanecerse en sus oficinas en San Pedro, Nuevo León, se convirtió en un referente en el mundo financiero y en la promoción del deporte en México.

El anuncio de su muerte se produjo en un comunicado emitido por la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, que lamentó la pérdida de un líder en el ámbito empresarial. Bremer, originario de Monterrey, había forjado su carrera desde joven, egresando de la carrera de contaduría del Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. A los 19 años, inició su trayectoria en la casa de bolsa del Grupo Banpais y, con el tiempo, se convirtió en un importante gestor en Avaco Casa de Bolsa. En 1993, asumió la dirección general de Value, donde logró incrementar notablemente su capital y expandir su presencia en el mercado nacional.

Además de su labor en el sector financiero, Carlos Bremer ganó notoriedad como juez del popular programa “Shark Tank México”, donde su carisma y conocimiento del negocio cautivaron a la audiencia. Su compromiso con el deporte y la filantropía también lo distinguieron, siendo un amigo cercano del famoso cantante Luis Miguel.

La fortuna de Bremer se estima en 67,000 millones de dólares, lo que refleja su éxito en el mundo empresarial y su capacidad para generar inversiones significativas. Tras su fallecimiento, el ingeniero José Cunader asumirá interinamente la dirección de Value Grupo Financiero, mientras el consejo de administración ha declarado un periodo de luto en honor a su legado. La comunidad empresarial y los seguidores de Bremer lamentan su partida, recordando su impacto en el desarrollo económico y social de México.
