Max Verstappen has purchased a new, super-luxurious private jet. The Dutchman already owned a Dassault Falcon 900, but has now been able to treat himself to an even better present. Verstappen is now the owner of a Dassault Falcon 8X, a more luxurious and larger version of the 900 variant.
The Dassault Falcon 8X is referred to as an ‘Ultra Long Range Jet’, with a range of up to 11,800 kilometres or 12.5 hours of flight time. Ideal for Verstappen during the Formula 1 championship, as he has to make many long flights to Australia, Japan, China, Brazil, Mexico and Canada, among others.
Verstappen recently purchased the 2022 Dassault Falcon 8X with registration PH-UTL. The private jet is registered in the name of Mavic Aviation BV, Max Verstappen’s company. The average cost of such an aircraft is around 50 million dollars, but there is a chance that Verstappen received some discount, since he turned in his Dassault Falcon 900 [around 10 million dollars].
Specifications
Max Verstappen’s new toy, after he also had an ultra-luxury yacht to his name earlier this year, is fully equipped and can transport a large number of people. The cabin can accommodate fourteen people, excluding the pilots and the flight attendant.
The cabin is 13.00 metres long and 2.34 metres wide. In addition, 16 suitcases fit in the hold, allowing Verstappen to take enough clothing and such with him when he is on his way to the next circuit on the calendar.

Below, check out the images of the inside of a Dassault Falcon 8X, which Max Verstappen recently became the owner of. Each model is designed in the same way, but the exterior of Verstappen’s private jet looks a lot different than the one pictured below.
Verstappen has painted his plane – named Unleash the Lion – in the same matte colour with orange hues that his Dassault Falcon 900 already wore. However, the level of luxury and size of his jet have increased considerably with the purchase of his new toy.
